Equip yourself to effectively navigate safeguarding in collaboration with statutory agencies such as social services, police, schools, and more. Gain the knowledge and skills to actively participate in safeguarding processes after reporting, and contribute to protecting children, families, and vulnerable adults. Your involvement can make a significant difference as they face some of the most challenging and painful experiences of their lives.

The course will be presented by one of our team of professional and experienced trainers and will include presentation slides, opportunities for discussion, scenarios and small group exercises.
This course is designed for anyone whose role requires them to interact with statutory agencies. The webinar will last 2 hours and will cover three modules.

Module 1: Roles and relationships

Recognise the context, challenges and possibilities in for faith groups working alongside statutory agencies
Module 2: Referral to Resolution
Understand the ‘who, what, why and how’ of involvement with statutory agencies
Explore what relationship can look like
Learn how to contribute to safe outcomes
Module 3: Communication and Collaboration
Be able to effectively communicate situations and service-users’ voice
Learn to collaborate with statutory agencies to reduce risk and find solutions
