Course description:

This course has been designed exclusively for Spiritual Directors within the context of their role and responsibilities working with adults and to increase knowledge in relation to those who may be at risk of harm. The content focuses specifically on those working in a close, one to one environment and is designed to equip you with the necessary tools to create a positive safeguarding space for you and the person you are working alongside, with the aim to provide you with the confidence to take appropriate action should a safeguarding issue or concern arise.  

This course compliments further learning such as our courses on Spiritual Abuse, Domestic Abuse and Pastoral Care & Supporting Survivors.

Course details:

This interactive webinar lasts 2.5 hours and is delivered over a morning, afternoon or evening. 

The course will be presented by one of our team of professional and experienced trainers and will include presentation slides, film clips and small group exercises to help delegates learn the content effectively. 

The session is delivered at a steady pace for those who are familiar with safeguarding terminology.
