This free, one‑hour session is designed to help faith groups and community organisations safeguard children with disabilities or neurodiverse needs with confidence, care, and understanding.

Practical, thoughtful, and rooted in real‑life situations, this session will help you to see the whole child, not just the risk.

What you’ll learn

• Why children with disabilities or neurodiversity can be at increased risk, and how systems and environments play a part.
• How disability‑related needs can interact with safeguarding concerns, and what that means in practice.
• Practical, inclusive safeguarding approaches you can apply in your own setting.
• How to recognise genuine risk without jumping to conclusions, and respond with clarity, curiosity, and care.
