Faith groups and community organisations increasingly work with people from many different cultural and national backgrounds. This short 60‑minute session gives you practical tools to navigate safeguarding confidently and respectfully in diverse settings.
You’ll get a clear overview of what safer recruitment looks like when someone’s history spans multiple countries, how to explain UK safeguarding expectations in ways that are culturally sensitive, and how to recognise when past trauma may shape present behaviour.
