Our next Members' Exclusive session covers all this and more! Whether you're creating something new or refining what you already have, Safeguarding Policy 101 will help you create a safeguarding policy that is clear, practical, and rooted in your organisation’s values.

This 1-hour session will give you what's needed for a practical and values-led approach to a fit-for-purpose safeguarding policy.

The session will include:

• Your principles - how identifying and articulating your organisation's core beliefs can guide the development of safeguarding practices, and ultimately shape your policy. 
• Discovering what safeguarding looks like in your context
• What to include - how to decide what goes in the main policy, what fits better in an appendix, and when a separate document is more appropriate.
• Formats and access - making your policy usable, readable, and accessible to everyone who needs it.
